Product overview

The BendPak SP-7XE is the surface-mounted full-rise option in the current scissor range. It provides approximately 1.79 metres of lifting height without the side columns of a conventional two-post hoist, giving technicians open access around doors, sills and vehicle sides. The full-rise geometry makes it suitable for a broader range of underbody service than the mid-rise models, while the open-centre arrangement reduces obstruction through the centreline. For workshops wanting full-rise scissor capability without constructing a recessed pit, the SP-7XE is the logical counterpart to the flush-mounted SP-7XEF.

Workshop fit

BendPak SP-7XE is rated to 3,175 kg and is a surface-mount full-rise open-centre scissor lift. Published maximum lift is 1,791 mm; installation profile is surface-mount. Confirm vehicle mass and weight distribution, manufacturer-approved lifting points, ground clearance, track/wheelbase or pad reach, workshop bay dimensions, overhead clearance at full lift, electrical and pneumatic services, and the exact slab/foundation/recess requirements before supply or installation. Rated capacity alone does not establish vehicle suitability. For flush-mount products, the site recess/pit must be built to the exact supplied manual/revision – never from a generic scissor-lift drawing.

Frequently asked questions

How high does the SP-7XE lift?
The current BendPak manufacturer page lists a maximum lifting height of 1,791 mm.
SP-7XE is surface-mounted, while SP-7XEF is recessed/flush-mounted.
It provides much greater standing-height underbody access than a mid-rise lift, but the scissor/platform structures still occupy areas beneath the vehicle. Suitability depends on the work being performed.
BendPak lists an SP-7X arm kit as an option. The exact vehicle and lift-point application should be checked before specifying it.
An exact current Genesis product page was not located. Do not publish stock/availability claims until Genesis/Iron Lift confirms the Australian supply arrangement.
