Product overview

The BendPak MD-6XP gives workshops a practical mid-rise lifting option without permanently committing a bay to a fixed hoist. The frame-engaging layout uses adjustable arm assemblies to reach suitable vehicle pick-up points, while the portable power-unit cart doubles as the means of moving the lift between work areas. Its 1,194 mm published lifting height is well suited to wheel, brake, suspension, detailing and general service work where full standing-height access is not essential. For mixed-use workshops, the MD-6XP can add an extra lifting position that can be moved aside when the bay is needed for something else.

Workshop fit

BendPak MD-6XP is rated to 2,722 kg and is a portable frame-engaging mid-rise scissor lift. Published maximum lift is 1,194 mm; installation profile is portable / surface use. Confirm vehicle mass and weight distribution, manufacturer-approved lifting points, ground clearance, track/wheelbase or pad reach, workshop bay dimensions, overhead clearance at full lift, electrical and pneumatic services, and the exact slab/foundation/recess requirements before supply or installation. Rated capacity alone does not establish vehicle suitability. For flush-mount products, the site recess/pit must be built to the exact supplied manual/revision – never from a generic scissor-lift drawing.

Frequently asked questions

Is the MD-6XP a full-rise hoist?
No. It is a mid-rise lift with a published maximum lifting height of about 1,194 mm, intended for jobs where wheel, brake, suspension, lower-body and partial undercarriage access are the priority.
Yes. The portable power-unit cart also acts as a tow handle, allowing the lift to be repositioned rather than permanently occupying one bay.
The rated capacity is 2,722 kg, but suitability depends on vehicle mass, weight distribution, lifting-point geometry, ground clearance and correct arm/pad engagement – not capacity alone.
The current manufacturer product page does not state a separate workshop-air requirement for standard lift operation. Iron Lift should still confirm the supplied Australian configuration before installation.
Yes. Iron Lift can quote supply, commissioning/support, servicing and spare parts subject to location, site conditions and supplier arrangements.
