HEAVY VEHICLE APPLICATIONS

Endurequip Portalift Applications for Heavy Vehicle Fleets

From road transport and bus depots to rail, municipal and specialist fleets, Portalift can be configured around different vehicle weights and axle layouts. Start with what you need to lift, then Iron Lift can help identify the appropriate column arrangement.

Configuration Guide

Start With Axles and Loads - Not Just GVM

Endurequip small wheel adaptors fit over the lifting carriage to suit selected smaller-wheel vehicles. The manufacturer currently publishes a wheel range of 575 mm to 775 mm, with a minimum 15 inch rim and a 2 tonne capacity when used as a pair.

System Nominal combined capacity Use this on the page as

A starting point for suitable lower-axle-count heavy vehicles where axle loads remain within each column rating.
6 columns
45 tonnes
A configuration for additional axle coverage or heavier multi-axle vehicles.

Application Assessment Checklist

What Iron Lift needs to understand your application

Industry-Specific Considerations

Industry-specific feature bands

Truck & Prime Mover Workshops

emphasise mixed axle layouts, portability, underbody access and the ability to move the system between bays.

Bus coach

Bus coach

emphasise fleet uptime, repetitive maintenance, clear underbody access and workshop flexibility

Rail specialist

emphasise application review and custom engineering rather than making a generic compatibility claim.

Waste municipal

Emphasise high-utilisation fleet maintenance and robust workshop equipment.

Mining resources

Emphasise rugged workshop environments and the need to verify site conditions, power, and environmental requirements.

Defence emergency

Use Endurequip-approved wording and images only. Do not independently claim that Iron Lift has defence supply status.

Mixed Fleets

One Workshop Bay. Different Vehicles.

Fixed lifting systems are excellent when the workshop and fleet are highly standardised. Mobile columns offer a different advantage: the lifting equipment can be positioned around different vehicles and moved away when the bay needs to be used for other work. For fleets with varying wheelbases and axle counts, that flexibility can be a major part of the purchasing decision

If you operate several vehicle types, start with the heaviest and most difficult vehicle in the fleet. Send Iron Lift the GVM, axle loads, wheel sizes and photos. We can use that information to help narrow down the Portalift configuration and accessories worth discussing.

FAQs

Often yes, provided each vehicle remains within the column capacities, wheel interface limits and manufacturer requirements. Mixed-fleet suitability should be checked before purchase.

No. GVM is only a starting point. Individual axle loads, axle locations and wheel interfaces also matter.

Yes, Endurequip markets Portalift specifically for bus and coach maintenance applications.

Endurequip markets Portalift for rail and specialist applications, but these should be assessed individually
because wheel interfaces and load distribution may differ from road vehicles.

Yes. Send the Portalift details, vehicle information and photos so the application can be reviewed before supply.

Endurequip currently publishes an IP65 rating. The installation and use still need to follow the product
instructions, site electrical requirements and risk controls.

Provide vehicle make/model, GVM, axle loads if available, number of axles, wheel size, site location, workshop
photos and any special operating requirements.
